My Time at Taylor Farm
The sun peeked over bright and early, casting its golden rays across the sprawling fields of Taylor Farm. Mama was up to with her chores, feeding the chickens and milking the cows. The aroma of fresh-baked muffins wafted from the kitchen window, making my tummy rumble. After a hearty breakfast, I joined Papa in the fields to help with the planting. It was hard work, but the warmth felt good on my face.
We took a break for lunch under the shade of a large oak tree, sharing stories and laughter. Afternoons at Taylor Farm are always filled with adventure. One day we might be swimming. The next, we could be exploring the woods. As evening approached, we gathered around the campfire, sharing spooky stories under the twinkling stars.
